ADVANCED FACE SWAPPING

Step 1 - Introduction

By now you've probably seen more than tutorial on pasting one person's face on another persons body.  This can be really useful to play jokes on your friends, or, as my girlfriend likes to do, test out different hairstyles on herself.  Now swapping faces in Photoshop is pretty easy if both photographs are at similar angles, and both people have similar skin tones.  But what do you do when the angles don't match and the skin tones are way different?

Well, the first thing to realize is that the end result probably isn't going to make a lot of sense.  You'll end up with characteristics from one ethnicity that don't match the other.  Also, the bigger the differences between prospectives, the more warped the end result will look.  With those disclaimers aside, let me show a quick and easy way to swap faces.
