Step 2 - Sharpen Her Claws
This is really simple.  We're going to extend her fingernails into sharp points.  To do this, use the Pen Tool.  You can use whatever color you want initially here, we're going to change it to the whitish color of the tips of her nails in a minute.  It'll eliminate a step or two for you if you just make them all white now.





Rasterize each one of these fingernails by right-clicking on each one of their layers and choosing "Rasterize".

Preserve the transparency on each one of these fingernails by clicking the box for it in the layers' window.

Be sure they are all colored the white color. You might want to make the color a little more pinkish and add some white to them, but it's not really necessary.

Un-preserve transparency on each nail.  Use the Eraser with the same Soft Round brush, and about 30% opacity.  Erase just slightly along the lines and the bottom edges/slides of the fingernails to make the extension blend better.



Once you've done this, you'll notice there are a couple fingernails that were blurred in the original picture, so we're going to do this now to the fingernail we made.  Use the Blur Tool and a Soft Round brush and click a couple times over the top of the pinkies.



We've finished!  Not too difficult and a neat effect.  Enjoy!
