Step 3 - Finishing Touches


Next up, I duplicated the sketch layer and put the duplicate above the original sketch, but below the coloring.  I then used Image > Adjustments > Threshold and set the Threshold Level to 137.  As you can see in the above image, this gives us a nice outline of the main characteristics of our girls.

The very last thing I did, was to change the blending mode of this new layer to Darken.  Here's the final result:
