ELECTRIFYING LOGO
Step 3 - A Few More Effects and You're Done!
Go back to the text layer and add an Inner Glow, with a much lighter blue color. Adjust all of the numbers and sliders so it’s a thin glowing line inside of the letter shapes.
Create a new layer below the text layer and above all of the bolts.
Using the Elliptical Marquee Tool with a Feather of about 10, draw a long skinny oval back behind the text. There might be a pop-up message telling you that it’s not visible, hit okay. It’s just that the selection is so small it won’t show up. Fill this shape in with white.
Double-click on this layer with the new feathered shape to bring up the Layer Style window. Click on Outer Glow and choose another blue color, moving the sliders around until you get something you like.
Now make that old white text layer visible again. You can leave it where it is, I just drug it up above my other one so you could see what it’s doing.
Go to Filters>Blur>Motion Blur. Change it to 90 on the angle, and adjust the distance to something reasonable.
You can now put it back into place if you also moved it.
And now for the last subtle change. CTRL+U for Hue/Saturation. Colorize, and make it a light blue. You might need to up the Saturation a bunch to see the color at all.
And you’re done! A very busy, electrically charged logo.
