Step 3 - Blending


Next, let's right click on the Orc layer (not the blurred one) and use an Inner and Outer Glow.  Set both of these to a crimson color that matches the blood, and change the blending mode on both to normal.  

This will help the Orc to blend in, and minimizes the jagged lines created from deleting the background.
