MAKE A SEAMLESS DIAGONAL PATTERN

Step 3 - Guide it home
Now that you have your stripes facing diagonally, you can start cropping them down to create a seamless pattern.

Use your ruler guides to find all of your lines before you start cutting your image apart.

***CTRL+R to reveal/hide the rulers on the top and left of the canvas.  To get the guides, left-click on a ruler and hold, dragging it out onto the canvas.  You'll see the little guide come out of the side with your cursor and you can drop it wherever on your canvas.  If you drop it somewhere you didn't mean to or want to move an old one, you can hold down CTRL and if you move the mouse over top of the guide, you'll see the cursor change a little.  Click and drag it to its new position.
