MAKE A STRAWBERRY INTO AN OUTLINE

Step 1 - Easy As Pie...
This is a simple tutorial with tips on how to make a strawberry into an outline.  You can apply this tutorial to any object, and use it for animations or maybe coloring sheets for kids.

We start off with a picture of a strawberry, and trace around it using the Pen Tool.  You can fill it in with red for now if you'd like - it will be white later.

Next, we trace a seed with the Pen Tool.  Fill it with brown or white, whichever you'd like.  Make the layer a little transparent by either dropping the fill down from 100% or the opacity.  We will be pushing this back up to 100% later. We just want to be able to see the strawberry picture through the strawberry we drew.

Right-click on the seed layer and Rasterize the image.  This will take the guides off of the layer, making it an object instead of a path.

Duplicate the seed a few times, matching it up with the picture of the strawberry.  Resize and rotate as you go along.

You can bring everything back up to 100%, no longer transparent once you've finished all of the seeds.  The seeds will take a while.  Duplicate, copy/paste, do whatever you need to do get them all in there. Once you have all of the seeds done, merge them all into one layer.

Use the Pen Tool again to trace the leaves of the strawberry.
